Oh yeah, I forgot about Medi-Cal and financial aid.
Yeah, I am on welfare then, but that last part might not be considered welfare according to academic and/or government standards since there are "work for welfare" programs.
Then again, I'm not sure how financial aid works.
Medi-Cal is welfare. Not sure why I forgot about that. I think I was mostly thinking about more traditional forms of welfare which are the whole "money handout" thing though I don't think any welfare program just literally hands out money. I'm not on food stamps though.

I imagine that the value of the free food and free rent she receives is less than the cutoff to receive it. I just hope that her brother isn't also claiming her as a dependent. But please, do not think for a moment... for a FUCKING moment that she is on welfare. Because she's not, goddamnit.
