The recent discovery of the deep state has made it confusing to discuss the government. Now when people refer to "the government" or "the state", we don't know if they're talking about the non-deep state, or both the deep state and the non-deep state. What we need is a term that distinguishes the non-deep state.
I have made a poll with some logical options. Once the poll is finished, we should all use the winning option to avoid further confusion.
Of course, if you have any other ideas, feel free to suggest them!

This moment also has exciting implications for libertarians. Whereas before you could only call your ideolgical opponents statists, after this poll you can call them deep statists or (winning option) statists. So you can insult your enemies more precisely.

I voted shallow state because it was my immediate answer, but in reflection I like State You See, because it shortens to SYS and we all know working in the US government is a sisyphean endeavour.
