Emotion is hard-coded into the human brain. It's like body language, a human cannot have 'zero' body language. Some people are unreasonable and irrational and the term 'emotional' is a catch-all term for such individuals, but this is not so much an excess of emotion (can you have excessive body language? even stoicism is a form of emotion) as it is poor willpower or impulse control.
