The more I think about it, it really is the better choice. Only perk to life drain, is that you can use it to drain life from Burner, at a time when you can't even reload.

I already have energyshot level 2, and metabolism/healing lvl 3. Game is in bounty mode, so no buying leveled up PE.

After reading the wiki, I devised a plan that allowed me to kill Burner using the free 9mm roounds. I apologize for the transgression, but I saved a ton of BP. Which is the thing to collect in that gaem.
