2-3 medium sized fresh tomatoes (from 1 lb to 1 1/2 lb), stems removed.
1/2 red onion.
2 serrano chiles or 1 jalapeño chile (stems, ribs, seeds removed), less or more to taste.
Juice of one lime.
1/2 cup chopped cilantro.
Salt and pepper to taste.

One if desperate without the benefit of a Lime might be tempted to use Vinegar instead. A proper Tomato has the necessary acid balance, so that the missing added acid is not necessary. If however a store bought no flavour Tomato is procured, then perhaps adding some car batter acid might help.

Of course I do. Roma and Heirloom - Here in Cardiff by the Sea people up the hill from me grow home grown varieties and have signs up with tomatoes in baskets and you just drop the cash in a slot of a box and take what you want. Love Tomatoes Fresh with Garlic and Fresh Basil and Olive Oil

All the posts you see that say I don't are all propaganda from that wanker who moved to China and quickly caught Horrid diseases from just the Air and Food and ended up in Hospital where it is said he was forced to donate some removed lung which was sold by street vendors as substitute for the usually Rat meat
