Non-composted or improperly composted manure can contaminate fruits and vegetables through uses such as a fertilizer or soil amendment, or in irrigation water. Salmonella, E. coli O157:H7, and Listeria monocytogenes can be found in animal feces.

Of course to be fair packaged foods are being recalled because they were improperly made or even improperly pasteurized.

Store bought Fresh produce might even be free of such bad stuff yet the stocking clerk may be picking nose and have AIDS or such.

I think the most special case is the Tomato - Breed for shipment NOT NOT NOT Flavor. - 1000 links on Web suggest Canned instead of Fresh

I suspect OP is of such nature that added manure to his fresh food is what he expected when traveling to a shit hole country like China. That country finds so many unique ways to get it into food. Not just that special oil they are infamous4

You know what I mean. Those were made FROM fresh foods, not processed in a factory. Chefs pickle etc. their own fresh foods.

Whatever the $6 deal of the day is 6" with chips and a soda. I only go there when I'm not gonna be home for dinner and I'm pressed for time so I don't have a favorite sandwich. I used to like the meatball parm before I couldn't eat cheese. :( What do you get?

Syntax replied with this 7 years ago, 42 seconds later, 5 hours after the original post[^] [v] #916,298

Placing a bet that if you bought a few Jalapeno's and pan roasted them - lite coat of oil very lite and slowly turn them now and then maybe 5 minutes total cooking time. They come out very much like the canned EXCEPT no vinegar and they get nice and sweet - Sugars turn Carmel in pan roasting process.

Do you like the fact that kosher forbids mixing meat and milk, so if you go to a kosher restaurant and order something with meat you're guaranteed a dairy-free meal?

Syntax replied with this 7 years ago, 1 minute later, 5 hours after the original post[^] [v] #916,301

OK it takes a village - However you can pan roast and then add a touch of vinegar.
The point is that a simple item like a Single Chile can be turned into a marvelous item beyond wot simple nature provided. They can be roasted in oven as well with no oil and no turning them

Yes that's one of the only good things about judaism. The other is controlling the global financial system. Everything everywhere is cooked in butter and having a reliable non dairy meat dish option is always appreciated.

The purpose of the oil is just to get pan contact over the surface of the pepper. Super thin layer and type is of no matter. Well this is something one wood not want to do in say China unless one brought their own trustworthy supply of oil.

Temps need not be high so even olive oil works. Hand rub it on because you really do not want to fry the chili in a layer of oil. Albeit that wood work
