I'm curious if you felt it worked like you wanted it to. Is it a type that somehow hangs in a doorway? Did you ever have it slip off and you hurt your ass real bad?

The idea of pulling up to a bar and ordering drinks sounds pretty cool. Bars need drive-thru order windows. But why would I would I put one in my home?

I had one. If you use it properly it can't ever 'slip off', assuming you're talking about one like in this pic. When you're pulling yourself up, you're pushing the bar into the door frame; it's more secure, not less.It could fall off if you tried to jump up to reach the bar obviously, which is what people who can't do pullups tend to try to do.
