McDonald's apparently doesn't give too much of a damn about their students since most cannot afford laptop computers while Pepsi gives their students such tools.

Children should be sent to Catholic schools to receive proper moral education.

Now as to community support the same page I C shows this whopper of help from McD's
In 2011, McDonald's donated $34 million in cash and in-kind donations (including hamburgers and fries, and volunteer hours donated by employees) to RMHC and other charities. That is only .08 percent of their $5.5 billion net income, says the report, far less than what is donated by similar companies like Yum!Oct 30, 2013

No but a quick look at via Wiki and I smiled when I C that novel is 2nd to SYRUP
Anyway you got me to look C at current state of US Corps donations to charity
Over the past 30 years, corporate contributions to charities in the U.S., as measured by percentage of pretax profits, have fallen precipitously, from a high of 2.1 percent at its peak in 1986 to just around 0.8 percent in 2012. There is some year-to-year variability to this measure, because ironically enough, contribution percentages tend to rise in periods of poor corporate earnings.
Now on the other hand there are several FAMOUS founders of corporations where the Founders now in retirement give away the vast majority of their Billions to Charity
Locally a close neighbor (10 Minutes away) gave away all of her MC D's Billions to charity upon her death - And I only once saw her at a Zoo benefit which she gave massive amounts of money2
Founder of Qualcomm is giving away his Billions as well and of course Blue Screen of Death Bill Gates

In the novel, Jennifer Goverment, there are USA countries and the free market essentially runs every aspect of daily life including the school systems. Australia is one of those countries, the author is also from there, and different companies find different schools. Pepsi and McDonald’s are two such countries.

No, it's the "e-ink," and the fact that you could have a library within one device that is dedicated to reading so no online distractions.
So, you're saying that you think loading it with e-books gives you some pseudo-itellectual quality? I bet you use it in public, hoping someone will ask about it.
