Topic: How are atheists so sure in what they disbelieve?

When there is usually no evidence to support their cases much like theists.

It's almost like not believing in stuff doesn't require any evidence at all.

Simple. One look at 200,000 year old rock art depicted god like creatures. Atheists need no evidence to support fairy tales.
Rock art or the 10 commandants carved on rock with only 195,000 years between those events.

So one can believe that fairy tales are real or not. Simple as that.

they tend not to believe in the single god, without even a thought to the multitude of other gods there are to not believe in.

that is, monoatheistic as opposed to polyatheistic.

We need more polytheists walking around acting like their shit is real and getting defensive if you don't believe them.
"Oh, I suppose you know for a fact that Thor didn't kill all those frost giants. I suppose you were there?"
"You're just saying Odin isn't real to get back at your father!"
