If you mean inside the company he fully owned NO Never - About the time I joined Malibu Research Labs he was still living in Beverly Hills from what I read or overheard. He moved to Las Vegas a couple of years or so before I left that company. Never met him nor even not once saw his plane landing when was at meetings at the Culver City location. Did meet his co-pilot who wood not answer a single question about Hughes. Many kept asking but not a peep.
Met his wife a couple of times but only with a hi or goodby until I moved temporary to Carlsbad and ran into her in a market.
Knew a couple of people that were close to Hughes but again they wood not even acknowledge knowing him.
