Have you ever reverse seared a steak?
I have two large ribeyes on the bone, one I'm going to sear in the pan and finish in the oven and then another night I'm going to reverse sear the second.

Because you cannot afford steak.

Well, I tried it first just in case I stuffed up I could have another go. This started when I was listening to a podcast and when a guy was asked if he was a good cook he said "Oh I can reverse sear a steak" and that seemed to settle it. So I looked it up.
100% the best way to cook a steak, ever. Holy shit this thing was amazing! So juicy and tender. Wow
Also, it was a ridiculously large, thick steak. In Liberian/American units it was just under 1 1/2 pounds and 2" thick
I probably should have taken photos.
