Topic: Traditional Chinese cuisine of the Kumning regions vs bland nursing home food

Senor Langostino started this discussion 7 years ago #78,177

If one had to choose between traditional Chinese cuisine of the Kunming region meticulousally prepared by devoted chefs that treat their work as art and create healthy authentic dishes based on recipes passed down from generation to generation for centuries by Chinese chefs or a plate of bland tasteless mush plopped on a plastic tray for old people with little to no teeth and weak stomachs which option would you choose?

Fine Chinese cuisine 6 75%
Boring tasteless nursing home food 2 25%

That is the proper spelling it is a Grecian derivative that is antiquated but nonetheless still correct.

Of course. Matt is obsessed with the crap he ate in Kunming. Human waste on the streets and...enough said because you can put 2+2 together.

@OP

You know what a balanced meal is in China?

Rice and anything else.

Do you believe that literally every restaurant in China sells food cooked in sewer oil?

@previous (J)
Matt said people took dumps on the street. Crafty Chinese simply recycle the effluent for consumption.

That's not what I asked. Do you believe that every restaurant in China sells food cooked in human waste products?

Betting not every restaurant and maybe a small percent. Chinese are infamous for adding insects-vermin-larva etc. Dog & Cat is considered epicurean. Old rotting meat saved for the super spicy dishes. Spice to cover up the stench.

I would choose the nursing home food. Chinese food is way too far out of my comfort zone. It would probably be too spicy as well.

Try Panda
Stuff in China has tons of spice to cover up the stench of rotting meat.
