Topic: New metric for autism being seriously discussed

Anonymous A started this discussion 7 years ago #78,147

Top mental health officials from all over the world met today in Berlin in advance of the upcoming World Congress of Psychiatry taking place in Mexico City at the end of September later this year. The topic of discussion among world mental health experts was a new metric of autism and autism-spectrum disorders that would be included in diagnostic criteria around the world.

The metric being proposed to gauge the severity of autistic meltdowns is called the MSPM, short for Minichan Shitposts per Minute. Mental health professionals have said that this is one of the most consistently reliable methods for assessing the sense of anger and confusion patients are experiencing during a meltdown. Today's proposals will be formally introduced at the official conference later this year, and the MSPM, if adopted, should start appearing alongside other official mental health indicators worldwide.

World health professionals also thanked the brave folks at Minichan for their important work helping to develop modern tools that can assist professionals in assessing and treating those so desperately in need of care.

I officially and urgently request Becky or other management to put a helpful banner on the page. Since the height of MSPM and the humanitarian crisis at stake.
The banner should state: "We Care".
Thanks.
