They seem like they want to be. They have a redneck portion of the state, they have similar city names like Hollywood, and they even have amusement parks. It's like they want to be California.

Actually, I think I remember reading somewhere that Disneyland is actually larger than the Magic Kingdom amusement park. Of course, "Demon King Samson," was most likely comparring the Disneyland Resort to Walt Disney World.

Actually, Walt Disney was alive and well when the Magic Kingdom was designed and constructed. He died before Epcot was built and even then he initially wanted to construct a city not an amusement park. They named the amusement park after his dreams of a futuristic city.
