Never watched the movie. 17 is a gray are for most places. I see you mentioned that but the fact that their teacher was doing things with them would probably be the most serious in terms of being unacceptable. Is it a new movie? I will look for it and give it a view.

I don't know it was on tv. it started off as a comedy but it kept getting more serious. the old teacher always gripes them when he gives them a lift on his scooter, and the principal finds out but the boys defend him.
one of the boys is gay and likes another boy, who isn't gay. but the straight boy gets a crush on the new young teacher and at the end of the movie he asks him to suck him off and other stuff. then at the end the hat boy becomes a teacher and basically says you can't be a good teacher unless you're pedo
soundtrack is the smith, the cure, ad other cool English bands. the movie starts with the smith, that's why I watched it
