Living with her was a lot of work and also i thought the relationship in general was moving too quickly for my liking. She was asking about marriage like 2 months in. A nice person but definitely not the right fit for me. Also politically we were like far apart on issues that would lead to awkward/uncomfortable arguments. Not that I mind that necessarily but I just think finding a person who is less radical would be a better fit personality-wise as well.

No I don't think being a stay at home mom is a good idea. It makes a woman too reliant on her partner and I don't like the social dynamics that come with that. I just want a woman who's like somewhere between centrist to maybe soft socialist (Gomer was hardcore maoist) and who works full time.

Bernie was way to her right. I definitely heard my fellow liberals get called "fascists"/"Cut a liberal and a fascist bleeds". Apparently to them anything right of Stalin is fascism which I am like at least 30% sure isn't actually true. We definitely had our differences, she is a lot more ok with some social stuff than I am (particularly drug use and sex work) but I'd say we agreed on like the general direction things should go probably 70% of the time, she just usually wanted to go a lot further than I thought was advisable. Like we both supported sentencing/prison/police reform, but she was like, abolish all prisons and divest from cops and I was more like, remove mandatory minimums for nonviolent crimes, decriminalize weed & expunge all convictions.

I'd ask you about your politics but I think generally you don't have strong opinions of your own, or if you do they are less important to you than taking up the most antagonistic position possible. Which is fine, you can't vote in any election that matters to me. I just think it's strange and has to be at least a little unfulfilling to only talk about things primarily because they make other people mad, and not because you believe them.
