Seriously, nuclear energy has the potential to be a safe, efficient energy source and a needed alternative to coal. With all the shit that happened at Chernobyl, we now have safety systems that make a similar kind of meltdown nearly impossible. However, between this and Japan, nuclear energy is going right back to looking dangerous again.
