I have a fine arts degree.
And a healthy bank account.
And a well paying job.
And health insurance.
And a retirement fund.
And no debts.
Guess it depends on the individual as to whether the degree is useful or not.

How long will it take to pay off your degree on a baristas income?

dunno what my student loans will be this year but I expect to have total around $15k in debt
If i manage to get employment in my field I can expect between $18 and $25/hr but it is somewhat seasonal so winter might be EI or other piecework shit
Current job is $14/hr
So let's say $15/hr just to lowball me
Dunno if they deduct taxes or not so I'm gonna ignore that for now
That's 1000 hours
I could live on let's say $700/mo which is about 47 hours
Let's assume 37 hours a week
That leaves 101 extraneous hours a month
So...ten months?
Reality won't be so neat because my field is all contract work

Pierre is a very common name! Best name for a geologist imo
Do you have loads of French people with the hyphenated first names or is that a québécois thing
