Interestingly, Polish jokes did not appear until World War II or so. Prior to that, there were entire books published with Irish, Scot, Hebrew, Negro, and even Dutch for pete sake, but not Polish.

Probably something to do with an increase in Polish immigration around that time.
Let's bring back Dutch jokes! If nothing else, it will broaden Syntax's horizons a little so he doesn't have to keep rambling about wooden shoes whenever he wants to say something about the Dutch.
