Topic: Why do toy manufacturers make toys like this?

They never sell and only end up in 99 Cent Only Stores and Dollar Tree stores. I see this Jyn Eros everywhere and I was surprised to find the Cassian Andor this time. These look really cheaply made too so what is the purpose of making them if they are just going to liter store shelves.
> I never see them sold or see anyone buying them except for this one instance where they seemed a little bit picked over.
how often do you check stock at the toy store

You're not supposed to enjoy them. You're supposed to keep them in the packaging and sell them at Star Trek conventions.

You’re right.
Even as a kid I knew the Barbie doll sized action figures were bullshit.

I wonder who buys them there. I think I have seen them at the outdoor swap market at some stalls too.

Also it's possible that Star Trek is reaching saturation and no one cares anymore so the toys are filtering down to dollar stores.

Mattel released a few 12-inch figures like this, for the Jurassic World line, and they sold out on the website pretty quickly. Please, tell me more about how nobody buys figures like these.
