They think people are poor just because they are lazy, and that they can just work harder and become rich.

Some people can work harder and become richer

Very few. Poverty is a very complex cycle that transcends “just work harder”. The hardest working people are those who do manual labor 15 hours a day, and they are usually the poorest.

Dems want to import those people illegally, so they can get votes!

I don't think that people should say work harder, but maybe work smarter. I know people who started out very poor and worked their way up to better paying, more prestigious positions.
And also so many people shouldn't go for social science degrees. It feels as though they don't produce as many jobs.

Poverty isn't something people are in and stay in. The numbers might be somewhat steady, but it's not the same people the whole time. The same goes for the middle class. A rich person could lose everything on a bad business deal and enter poverty. The left chooses to be ignorant about this simple fact.

I have many members of my family who all started out very poor. None are super rich now, but they are comfortable, and isn't that all that you really need?

It's working out pretty damn good for the country, I don't see any Democrats with good policies giving Trump any competition.
Dems want war with Russia, free stuff for everyone, and no borders. No one is taking that bullshit seriously. Trump 2020, keep America grate...
