Basically it is simple, yet complicated.
He is nearing his 76th birthday. His life consists of running in and out of forums trying for attention and also using them to vent his frustrations on a life that went down a very bumpy road. Syntax was the playground punching bag. (Can you imagine going to school in the 1950's and having a girls first name?) Instead of Lynne his parents should have named him "Punch me" "Spat on me" or "Throw the basketball at my head" because that it just how it was back then. He has probably had more boogers flipped on him than a public bathroom mirror.
That is just what his childhood was like. If I had more time we could move on into the teen years and then on to adulthood. Maybe at a later date. But for now we might have a little pity on the old codger.

The teen years were hard on Syntax. Girls made fun of his name behind his back, but he heard their whispers.
