I told you Trump worshippers that this would happen.

DPRK is crazy but not that crazy. Loss of Nukes for them makes no sense.

I mean how is this any worse than Obama though?

Worst case scenario we're just in the same rut we've been in for 60 years now.

Maybe Trump can have "Not really any worse than Obama" engraved on the top of his next North Korean collectible propaganda coin.

Correct. DPRK has done this to all US presidents. Trump was just so naive as to think they meant it this time.

Except this is literally the first time any US President has attempted to play this game.

You can't lose if you don't play, but you can't win either.

You know why? Kims have always wanted to meet with US presidents! It is *WE* who have refused to meet with him, because we knew how he acts!!! Only Trump was naive enough to trust a fucking Kim.

> because we knew how he acts!!!

Yeah, no. We'd never tried to talk to them before, so there's no way we actually knew that.

Sorry, but the Boomers lied to you.

You are not listening. KIM tried to meet with us. We did not, because our intelligence KNEW how they act. Trump ignores US intelligence (and praises dictators, but that is another story). He is a fucking fool, because Kim PLAYED him. Any North Korea watcher could have told you exactly what would happen (like me, and I tried to).

I think you shall find that it is Trump who is doing the playing. But you won't realize it for another 5 years.

If by "play this game" you mean have a photo-op with North Korean leadership, then yes.

If by "play this game" you mean try to get North Korea not to develop nuclear weapons through diplomatic means, then no. That's been failing for decades now. Trump is just the latest sucker.

Embargoes sure are diplomatic! The pinnacle of Diplomacy if you ask me!!!!

You are ignorant. North Korea has its ways, and has not changed for decades. China supports them, especially with Trump’s stupid tariffs. You will see: Kims do not change.

We JUST tried to be diplomatic. You saw the Trump-Kim meeting. What happened? Now Kim is calling Trump a gangster, refusing to meet with his envoys, and refusing to stop making nucleaer weapons. Kims will never change.

If you think Trump is the one who comes out of this looking like a pissy little baby, you're wrong. That would be Kimbo.

They obviously don't give a fuck if they can't get food to feed their people, so yeah, embargoes... working out great for us.

And look, we can't just wipe them off the globe for no reason... this is all just a bit of the ol' 4-D Chess in action, y'know?

How does Trump going to Singapore and shaking hands change any of that? What game is this US President playing that has never been played before? Trump got Kim to smile and make an agreement that Kim went home and violated almost immediately. That leaves Trump looking like a total sucker in this deal.

Do you think the recent reports of construction and activity at their nuclear testing facilities are a sign that they are pursuing denuclearization?

So North Korea expanding missile production plants and nuclear testing facilities is a sign they are denuclearizing because Trump says he's doing a deal?

Nobody thinks they made an agreement for North Korea to give up it's weapons in exchange for nothing.

Everyone warns trump. Trump doesn't listen. Trump does what trump wants. Trump fails exactly as predicted.

But oh no, the problem isn't trump it's <insert excuse> why he failed.

Trump collaborators are so thoroughly deceived lol

Agreement signed says
"3. Reaffirming the April 27, 2018 Panmunjom Declaration, the DPRK commits to work toward complete denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula."

Kim says to self Yes in year 3018 or maybe 4018

Word play. He said denuclearization of the Korean peninsula, not of north korea. He's basically said he'll denuclearize when the US stop guaranteeing the security of south korea under our nuclear umbrella of security treaties.

Syntax replied with this 7 years ago, 5 minutes later, 15 hours after the original post[^] [v] #902,662

OK yea that works for me. Kim came out a hero b4 his own people and that is all he really wanted. To be a STAR on the world wide stage and he won.

That last meeting with Pumpuspao where DPRK called us Gangsters really says it all

Anonymous L replied with this 7 years ago, 26 minutes later, 15 hours after the original post[^] [v] #902,664

And that makes trump a God damned moron if some idiot from Texas can figure that out from reading the fucking papers and he can't despite having all the resources of the fucking president. Especially since people were telling him all this beforehand.

If I remember correctly? CNN Poll said Trump has 90% approval from Republicans.

So did Hitler. There's nothing to admire about a man who wrangles his base with dishonesty, hatred and threats. Idiot's eating up authoritarian bullshit doesn't make him anything special.
