Has anyone noticed laws being passed that specifically target homeless folks, like loitering ordinances in public spaces, sit and lay ordinances, "camping" tickets given to folks sleeping outside without enough gear to qualify as camping. Less and less public restrooms and water access.
Starbucks informed employees of the official policy in a letter sent to them on Saturday, spelling out that “any person who enters our spaces, including patios, cafes and restrooms, regardless of whether they make a purchase, is considered a customer.”

I hope they enjoy their massive piles of homeless feces.

@OP
Yeah and they should leave people alone, really. (((They))) aim to criminalize existence and the battle is becoming a war.
Here's the chance to fight for actual human rights instead of arguing petty bullshit like what words we should use to describe your specific pathology.

You can thank those two dudes in Philadelphia who got arrested after they sat in a Starbucks for two hours without ordering, then refused to leave when asked by management, then refused to leave when asked by the police.
They fought for your rights and now you can use Starbucks bathrooms without buying anything!

As a libertarian, I think Starbucks can do whatever they want with their bathrooms and the free market will decide if the new policy is working or not!

Since moving to this town, I have been trying to motivate the houseless folk to be active in city hall meetings and the like, so their voice can be heard too
