Why should we limit ourselves to only one kind of protection? I mean we have to adjudicate every shitty little conflict in the Middle East, Venezuela's a lot closer and we could relieve a lot of suffering.

Venezuela has oil but it's not an enemy of Israel so it only meets 1 of 2 invasion requirements.
