Just take the US Census and use that as a guide. So you get 76.6% white, 13.4% black, 1.3% Native American, 5.8% Asian and so on. Set Harvard's student demographics to match those of the US as close as possible. Maybe use the census data for 18-22 year olds to get a closer match. And obviously 50/50 male/female for all races (with trans students counted as the gender they identify with).

I really don't see how anyone could object to this.
And do it overtly, too. Send out a press release saying "Harvard will admit X white students, X black students, X Asian students, etc, in 2019"(Edited 3 minutes later.)
Not sure if trolling or not.
The problem is not at the level of universities. Trying to fix things at this level is stupid and may even be counterproductive and amplify stereotypes and resentment.
The problem is with funding primary education by property taxes and the reinforcement of socioeconomic status that occurs because of it.
Although more specifically, I agree with you and Harvard should to this. That with their continued legacy admissions. The place blows hard.
Why should you have to go to school in the first place? The place that hires you should teach you everything and pay you to learn it.
Privatize education, sign your kids up for an exciting future in a corporate hierarchy and ensure their success!
Fixes welfare, too; You have three kids enrolled and learning everything they will need to know to live as a burger flipper? Then you get three paychecks!
