When it comes time to start taking hormones you want to become a participant in deciding what to take. If you are not you will most likely be prescribed oral estrogen that is a patented hormonal substitute for natural human estrogen. In most cases these hormones come from pregnant horse urine.

Nothing, I just recalled Nexi telling me one day in Rabb.it that some estrogen products were made from horse estrogen and that just seemed far-fetched to me for whatever reason, but now reading this book I think back.
