Maybe it's the drugs, depression, Godspeed You! Black Emperor, and research of World War I speaking, but it really does feel like something terrible is going to happen. I know that's a vague, ominous thing to say, but I think we're on the brink of catastrophe that may not be global but have far-reaching effects.

All I see is the normal ordinary day to day Political stuff I saw years ago. Crime on the news, wars there, gas price going up, people need work but to lazy to go out and find it.
Now IF you let research get to you? That means you need to switch research to something like the history of Ice Cream or Chocolate or even advancements in natural sex herbal products or unnatural sex herbal products.
Its a lot like the attitude cops have to adopt day after day of seeing so much horrid stuff out there. Grow cold and hard to it or find some other area to make a buck.
How do people deal with rape crisis clinic work day after day? One is either up to it or one gets that out of their life and finds some other area to help out. Finding unwanted animals a home etc.
