Topic: don't you hate it when your parents admonish you for making carefully calculated, logical decisions?

I make a lot of small, irrational decisions, so my parents don't trust my judgement very much. This is usually not a big deal, but it can cause a major problem: whenever there's a big decision to make, and I think about it and come up with a decision, they always reject it. No matter how much I explain it to them, they typically will refuse just about any idea I suggest, while sticking with their own ideas (which are often very flawed). What should I do to resolve this conflict?
Do whatever my parents say and never make any choices for myself, leaving everything up to them,

@previous (B)
That is an option, but I'm not going to consider it until I've actually failed at life; right now, I'm still in the process of failing, so I won't KMS yet.
