Weird emotionless robots? Nonsense. Just mention government regulation on anything or wave a gold fringed flag around. They get plenty emotional.

The essence of Libertarianism is selfishness. They do not want to participate in a community in any way. They view any form of helping a fellow human being as “being robbed by the government”, etc. They are purely selfish. That is why they show no emotion: they have little to begin with.

I've known some pretty nice libertarians who were actually involved in their communities. I imagine they were in it more for the "live and let live" ideals and a healthy skepticism of government intervention. I'm sure there are plenty of people out there who just embrace the selfish aspects of it, but it sounds like you're tarring all of them with the same brush.

Please, there is no time for measured or rational thinking here, okay? Thanks.
