If you were on a commercial flight, and the pilot passed out and the hostess asked, “Can anyone fly a plane??”, would you volunteer? I have played so many realistic flight simulators that I think I could actually land a plane, especially with support from the tower.

I've never really played flight simulators, but during a flight in a small 8 seater aircraft where I was sitting in the copilot's seat I was 100% ready to take the controls and fly the plane. Mostly I just tried to not bump the controls or kick the pedals, and secretly hoped for the pilot to have a heart attack or something...

I know which ones, from flight simulators. You need to make sure the de-ices are on, the APU, and the lights. Everything else is manual, and the tower will talk you through the rest.
