Not really sure. The latest chromium build performs better than the latest chrome release, tho. Firefox4 performs like utter shit for me.

All three are set on auto, meaning they'll find the max number of fish before framerate drops below 60.
FF6 at 120-130, Chrome12 at 1-5, and IE9 at goddamn 830.
IE9, however, used a generous 45% of my GPU, FF used like 10-15%, and Chrome seemed to use 0 or 1% at most, which is probably why it didn't get very many.

Just observing. They're probably not exact, but they can't be far off.
It totalled at about 55-60% with them all running for a while.
I first closed Chrome and it immediately changed only one point, so I assume that was it's usage.
I let the other two go for a bit, hovering around 55-60
Then I then closed the FF6 Fishbowl tab at 60%, and it immediately dropped by fourteen.
Finally, I let IE9 go for a bit more, and it hovered at exactly 45 for a while and didn't move, so I figured any fluctuations would've been in FF because of maybe other tabs. I closed that and it dropped to 0.

Actual usages for each of them, one by one, over about a minute and a half each.
IE9 was first, maxing at 1000 fish, 60 fps, ~55%.
FF6 was next, 140 fish, 60 fps, ~45%.
and Chrome12 was last, 1 fish, 22fps, exactly 12% throughout.
All windows were about 960x1024 and had no extra tabs.

And thus! The trick was revealed. IE probably has its thread priorities jacked up, while FF and Chrome are set for more appropriate and balanced use of system resources. Bah!
