Even though I would never use a prostitute, I'd support people using them and the prostitutes themselves. Its their business and I've never ONCE heard a compelling argument against legalized prostitution.

Right, giving women a safe environment to work in is degrading.

Prohibiting prostitution does not stop it, obviously because it's still going on.

It does make it harder for women to work at a brothel (easier to crack down on), mean less regulation and more STDs, and ensure that many "go missing". They cannot unionize, they cannot work safely, they are treated like shit.
