Topic: I have the necessary units to graduate community college.

Catherine !ttGirlsPl2 started this discussion 8 years ago #75,830

I could graduate with a CIS (Computer Information Systems) and BET degree. However, I still have one more mathematics course to complete in Fall that is if I don't end up last minute failing my current mathematics course. >.< I could graduate in Fall, but now it depends on if I want to transfer to a four-year university because that means I have to work on transfer credits and decide on a major.

I know I said I was going to refrain from posting, but fuck it. I could post this one thread and start again. I've been fairly good in my promise I feel. Just felt like sharing this news with people.

Something business related, I gave up on that a while back when I realized it wasn't what I wanted, but still managed to end up with the units to obtain a degree. But perhaps it allows me to score a comfy office job though.

Hummmm BET could either be Engineering Technology or Black Entertainment Television.

She probably has an honorary degree in Black Entertainment Television

BET stands for Business Education Technologies. I thought it was about managing a business as that was what I was told but upon finding it out I'm like fuck that. Yet I still ended up acquiring the necessary units for the degree. Oh well, one cannot have too many degrees I suppose.

What exactly is that course about?
I did a quick lookC
The study of Business Education Technologies (BET) is designed to prepare students for a variety of careers in high-tech business offices.

Duh not so sure I can really C what that is without digging in2 it more

I just wanted to post this here as opposed to making a new thread about it, but I saw Solo: A Star Wars Story a few nights ago and loved it. Aidan Ehrenreich surprised me in how he portrayed Han and there were some lines of dialogue that I could actually picture Harrison Ford saying in the original trilogy. Aidan delivered them fine, just like Harrison. Speaking of which, Woody Harrelson was good in the movie too. The only thing that I didn't really like and fuck spoilers, I'm too annoyed by this to care, is that Darth Maul does make an appearance to set up potential future movies. I'm just sad that this movie wouldn't warrant a sequel due to it being critically panned. It would be nice to see Han Solo start work for Jabba the Hutt.

It's probably because it's the latest in an attempt to milk the franchise for anything like what once existed. Seriously, I'm more interested in Fast & Furious 9, the return of the bride of Rocky, son of Xander Cage.

Star Wars isn't nearly as frequent as the Marvel franchise.

Why make that comparison? Star Wars movies come out once a year, with Marvel you get two per year but they're entirely different characters and stories.

Marvel only get two movies a year? It feels like more. And I made the comparison because it seems like the burn out would affect Marvel first.

You're joking right? You don't think "Oh yippie, let's blow up another Death Star" burns out faster than a potential variety of hundreds, perhaps thousands of original characters?

Well, yeah, but the hype was strong when they recycled that so it was fresh into this "new era" of the franchise. If they did that shit again in Episode IX I have no doubt the results would be similar to what you said. Especially when there are already two more trilogies lined up after that film.
