Do you really, really believe that In-n-Out burger has a “secret menu” that it tries to hide from customers, except those in the know like you who have discovered it?? And do you really insist that they show you the potato before making your fries??
He also lives in a place that does not have In n Out
If one were to simply just Google In n Out secret menu the first result I C is
The animal style fries are potatoes with cheese spread, grilled onions and pickles if you ask for them (I don't). The second-most popular secret menu offering is protein style, which means your burger or double-double is wrapped in lettuce instead of a bun. ... The Flying Dutchman - just cheese and meat, to take home.
A website called BuzzFeed recently paid tribute to In-n-Out Burger by listing 27 whimsical reasons why they are so beloved.
I won’t detail them all but some are admirable. It began: First of all, the burgers, which are handmade by angels. Then it went on: “Also, the heavenly, freshly cut-to-order divine fries. Followed by: the Special Sauce, because only mere mortals use just ketchup and mustard. The milkshakes are pretty much nectar from the gods. And The Neapolitan Shake is the most potent of them all. It goes on: The ingredients are fresh 2 death...like, it’s so fresh you can only get it in certain states.
Ending with: But if you want to go crazy The Secret Menu is what dreams are made of.
Which is where I come in...’cause I was the first journalist to detail ALL of the possibilities of the secret menu.
You will have to read the rest cause well cause I am not about to copyPasta all there is2
Last time I was there they failed to show me the Potato nor was I about to ask them for that. Will see what happens next time
AND I have never paid attention to the special Shake which is only 2B found on that secrete menu so will try next time

But don’t you understand that there is nothing “secret” about this? It is just putting the same few ingredients in a different order! It is just like how Taco Bell tries to troll everyone all the time with a “new” menu item, which is just beans, cheese, sour cream, and lettuce, but in a different order. Surely you understand this?

Apparently your culinary skill is super limited.
Raw Onions which are on the regular menu do not even resemble the Grilled Onions one only finds on the Secrete Menue nor do they charge extra for them and there sure is more prep and labor and cooking time=labor plus the added oil which comes at no extra charge. And always cooked to Order including just how much grilling time you want them grilled.
The regular menu is shockingly small and limited. There is no hint of any added special menu and not even sure if they have a hard copy to show
One other difference is that NO ONE Starts working there at minimum wage and it's standard practice to pay employees bonus's and I mean regular employees
AND I have never ever experienced so many employees with such happy smiles and I mean those working in the background as well as at the counter
There are no freezers, microwaves or heat lamps
Their shakes, which I don’t often drink, are made from real ice cream with no by-products.

Never mind my previous comments. I've talked it over with the gin and tonic and both of us are feeling pretty good.

I always felt a bit awkward getting drunk before sunset. Like, it's okay to start drinking before but you should still be coherent and not slurring speech until dark.

There is literally no 'secret menu' it's just good customer service.

How exactly is hiding all the options good customer service? There is NO HINT at all there are other options.
For instance b4 I became a customer there was NO LIMIT to number of Patties and slices of cheese until someone ordered 100 X 100 all one one single burger and they did it and corporate said NO MORE Nonsense

HowSomEver that last link does NOT list all there is to list so one must resort to going deeper digging deeper
So one MUST Google In n Out secrete menu and even then it takes some looking4
Give it a try yourself AND Notice that finding something as simple as the Grilled Onions are NOT easy to locate nor does In n Out make it easy to discover
They are there but it takes finding the right image and I do mean the RIGHT image and scrolling over the text to find them
Also they do offer a no bread option for dem into bread as not good for body. Gluten nerds

I make fun of McD's and 4sure Taco Tuesdays means Tacos made to order and they are FAST to make except some details are not easy to make like say Carnitas for instance as compared to a burger joint.
Hard for me to remember what I get that is fast except for occasional Subway which is NOW off my list because well just because I have researched far more better places which are few I admit to get a Far Far more better Sandwich.
I have all but given up trying to find Onion Rings that meet my high standards - I no where to find them but logistics are a bitch
