I used to work in a place like this, and we were always trying to get people to fix the lighting. What you should do is just bring in a tall ladder, a drill, and a screw gun to fix the lighting yourself. Sometimes the bulbs are misaligned and just need to be set right. More often, the workmen who installed the fixtures did a poor job, and you will need to drill new holes to get the fixtures properly aligned. Some people are likely to raise a fuss if you start doing this when the store is busy, so try to come in on a slow day. Trust me, once you are done you will be the hero of all the regular staff.
