i got the money for a new mbp but none of the new ones can be upgraded or fixed properly

$949 and it's the i5 8GB RAM 256GB SSD model. It's got some regular USB 3.0 ports and a Thunderbolt 2 port and also has the magsafe connector for charging while using any combination of those ports. Battery is supposed to be like 12 hours. Has an HDMI out.
