I really think that childhood is completely underrated. As a child, you spend time growing, like a flower in bloom. Once you reach the age of maybe 20, your body starts to fail on you. You go bald, get grey hairs, and generally just degenerate until you reach your final destination; death. Look at the lifespan of a human being and figure out the time where he was most aesthetically pleasing. Was it when he was 20, 30 or 40? No, by that time he is preparing for death. As a child, maybe aged 10, 11 or 12, he is at the absolute maximum of how beautiful he will become in a lifetime. This is why, I personally believe that childhood is unrated. The charming innocence of little boys and their staggering beauty makes me believe that childhood is fucking underrated. No-one tells you when you're maybe 12-years-old "Hi, John, you're 12 now, and this is as good as you're ever going to look in your life time...", maybe they should. Maybe the innocence of childhood and the beauty of children as a whole provide an amazing youthful outlook on the world, one without the nonsense and illogical rules of adult life. Let me know your thoughts.

I think childhood is overrated. Everyone talks about how much you should enjoy your childhood and how great it is, but really, what's so great about it? You have no money, you can't drive a car, you have to depend on your parents for everything, you can't even go to the bathroom in public without your parent's permission, you can only eat what your parents give you and say you can eat, you have to go to school and have no say in the matter, you have to worry about child abuse and sickos, and you've gotta grow up with all the bullies and other asshole kids. Adults always say that children can be so cruel to each other, but then they tell miserable kids how lucky they are.
I like being an adult, with a job and responsibilities and all the money and freedom that come with it. I like being allowed to do whatever the fuck I want and dealing with the consequences instead of having someone else tell me what is and isn't good for me, and what sort of lifestyle I'm supposed to live. Fuck childhood. Oh, and then there's sex. Would anyone here seriously give up sex just to go back to being a kid? Fuck that.
