There has to be a limit to what you can stoically accept.

Stoically accepting your limits is the pinnacle of stoicism.

Just because something is beyond your strength, you shouldn't suppose it to be beyond any person's strength.

Additionally, if something is within the power of a person to bear, believe that it is within your power also.

I read that while trying to decide if I should waste my own time to resolve a bug in the new Firefox release - Now I am taking the Stoic position and will just wait for others to fix this bug and live with it 4 now

Absolutely, all the most famous stoics from history also had quite the temper. Mark Antony for instance

But like if they get your order wrong at McDonald's, you should go back and complain and get it fixed. If someone puts ketchup on my double quarter pounder I ain't stoically accepting that shit.

Perhaps you could decide to use your situation as an opportunity to fill yourself with resentment. Or perhaps you could look from a wider perspective, thusly;

"My double quarter pounder was garnished incorrectly. I have to walk back and re-order. This is an inconvenience to me.

I will shortly get a new burger. Today I will eat 15 such burgers. I will not go hungry today. I cannot remember the last time I went for a day without eating. I have never starved. People are dying right in this moment, not just of starvation but of many causes. Ultimately, I too must die. It can happen at any point. Today could be my last day of being alive. If this was my last day, would I want to waste it feeling negative emotions? Should I not instead find joy in every aspect of life?"

You turn around and walk back. The cars and pedestrians in their thousands, each one with a unique story to tell and a unique reason for being there. The grass and flowers and trees growing and displaying their beauty. Each with a unique reason for being there. Insects and birds and many other animals move by you, each one with a unique reason for being there. You enter the restaurant, a building which will stand for a short while, and will soon disappear. For now it is full of life. The grills hiss and the lights hum and your burger is remade, and you are back on your way.

It cost your errand a short while, but it gave you the opportunity to celebrate how fortunate you are to be alive. Was it not meant to be?
