If I cracked open a skull, would I be able to scoop the brains out with a spoon like pudding or would it be tough and rubbery?

Brain — In both vertebrates and invertebrates, the brain is the center of all cognitive functions, the wheelhouse of the ship, if you will. It probably behaves like fatty tissue? Preserved brains sure do. I'm pretty sure it doesn't just glorp around in there like pudding, otherwise all those complex neural structures and nerve tracts wouldn't be able to exist. Go find some brain surgery and brain dissection videos.
