and then when they're like 25 years old their parents have an intervention and they realize they have to let go of being a teenager and graduate high school magna cum laude and enter Harvard

i think a lot of jurisdictions have an age limit on 'regular' high schools
but that sounds horrifying

It seems to be 21 in a lot of places. I wonder what happens if someone is like legit retarded and gets held back three grades and doesn't graduate before 21? I guess they're just out of luck?

@previous (A)
They have ways of forcing the retards out, otherwise most USAmericans would be in highschool until 21.

Sounds like a good way for a young homeless person to get a "do-over".
