It's a lot of hype just to hear the Malcolm in the Middle song played live. I hear that they save it for the last song and hint at it throughout the concert to hype the fans, but then they finish without playing it and everyone is let down. But then they come out for an encore and play the Malcolm in the Middle song and sometimes Malcolm makes an appearance and everyone goes crazy!

I don't know if Malcolm has been confirmed for this concert, but I hope for your sake that he makes it so it is a memorable and amazing experience.

Anyways, if you ask me about what this song is about: It's about the "outfitism" of fascism - where they simply go for looks rather than get tangible, constructive things done. I mean, just look at the way powerful rightists usually dress up: in suits. Compared to leftists, where people actually come together to create something tangible: like music! It also doubles as a message of individualism where right ideologies expect you to dress up to please others, whereas music is usually connotative with self expression.

If you go into any decent music scene the vast majority of them are communist of some sort or another. They are talented artists with a political take because it is the only "counter" to the current dichotomy that they can tolerate. And TMBG is saying, well if you guys let me play my songs and record music then okay I guess I'll be on your side.
However the song is more intelligent than that, combined with the video and the first chorus letting the listener know that they aren't really communist, they're just going along so they can play music.
