Car alarms don't even work. People will just ignore it and walk past. Also nobody will risk their life and limbs to prevent car theft of another persons car. Only the owner is helped with car alarms and they should just use mobile networks in 2018 so we don't have to hear them anymore.

This is true. Back in my days as a miscreant youth, I used to steal things from unlocked cars. How did I know they were unlocked? I would try the door handle. I never set off any alarms, tho. Because I would not check cars that had flashing red lights on the dash.
