You can't even be centrist without being called alt-right by lefty lib cucks. They think it's a good idea for the poor and the weak to cower in the corner screaming "REEEEEEEEEEEEEE alt-right" at every person with an opinion that isn't hardline communism.
Do you want four more years of Trump? Because that's how you get four more years of Trump.

Terms like racist, bigot, and neo-nazi are so tainted. If you re-brand the movement as alt-right, then people start pretending you have valid political beliefs.

There's nothing wrong with the regular right. Or the regular left either. What's wrong is left-wing identity politics putting you in either the alt-right or lib cucks category. Kanye West said Trump sometimes does some things well, and is now an alt-right Nazi.

Last time I did one of those political tests I was neo liberal. I'm not the one who decided all the far lefts ideological enemies are now labeled alt-right. What used to be a label for far right white supremacists is now used to include comedians, rappers, authors, even liberal professors etc.
It's lost its sting, people are tired of hearing it used as a weapon and everyone not on the far left is alt-right now

Blaming polarized finger pointing on left-wing identity politics isn't coming out against finger pointing. I just wondered if he had any political beliefs that could be summarized without saying "right" or "left" a bunch of times and blaming someone.

I'm curious about what defines "alt-right" in some people's minds. Just defining "right" as "not left" isn't helpful. Anon D seems to think everyone not "far left" is alt-right now. Do you agree with that?

If I had to guess I'd say it's much like the political compass: senators Rand Paul and Tom Cotton are both "right wing" but in very different ways. If you view politics as a 1 dimensional left-right axis it can lead to confusion (wait why is Rand Paul filibustering the PATRIOT Act? I thought he was right wing?!) When you add another dimension (authoritarian-libertarian axis) it makes a lot more sense: Cotton is a right wing authoritarian and Paul is a right wing libertarian. So they'll agree about some things (2nd amendment) but disagree about others (dude weed lmao).

That's a good point. I guess I'm wondering where alt-right would fall on that (or any other) spectrum. I haven't seen much in the way of a statement of principles. I get the impression it's authoritarian about some issues, but more libertarian about others. I was trying figure out what kind of guiding principle determines that.
One person being labeled alt-right or saying that it's a term some people call other people doesn't help define a political ideology.

Alt-right is no more of a political ideology than libcuck is. Have you considered the guiding principle of libcuckerism?
