For context, I am a power wheelchair user with some mild body deformities. So a little over a week ago I slept with a special lady friend. We have been together many times in the past and never had any issues. So the last several times we were together we didn't use a condom. It was really dumb and I regret it now... but it is what happened and I can't change things now. Anyways last week she tells me that I need to get tested for chlamydia. So I went into a local clinic to get tested. This place is what a lot of folks call a "doc in a box" in that its a basic doctor's office that takes walkins without any prior relationship. Sort of like a community health center. So I talk with the nurse and give her the basics and she acted normal, took down all my info and then had me pee in a cup. After I gave her my pee I thought it was all over and then shes like "go ahead in exam room 2"... so I go in there and wait a few minutes before this doctor walks in. He asked me why i was there, even though the nurse had written everything down already. I told him everything I told the nurse and he just sat there with this puzzled look on his face. He then says, "So why do you think you need to get tested?" I repeat what I said before making sure to add "I had unprotected sex." and he says, "hmm ok." And it dawned on me at that point that he didn't believe me. I started asking him questions about chlamydia and you could tell that he just didn't think the conversation was worth his time.... so the moral of this story is that even healthcare providers aren't going to take your sexual value seriously... you have to demand they do on your own.

Well... heres the craziest part... A nurse calls me a few days after to do a "wellness follow up call" to see if I was satisfied with my visit. And so I asked about my test results... she looks at my file and tells me that the test was never actually done... they never even ordered a test even after I gave them a urine sample. So she asked me to come back in and give another sample. At this point I was so pissed (no pun intended)... so I went back in on Wednesday and gave another sample and asked to talk with the clinical director. I told her all of what happened and that I expected better. They promised they would get the test done and let me know the results. But I haven't heard from them yet, so I am going to call them Monday.

I got crabs awhile back when I used my uncle's fleshlight. It was rough but the medicinal shampoo fixed the problem right off.
