Your sim card will work fine, might need a converter if you got micro/nano or sim. The sim card itself hasn't changed much other than its size.

Yep! I think they changed some unimportant settings like default storage of contacts which used to be stored on the sim not the phone.
I hope @OP delivers the time machine though. Tired of @OP not delivering.

I have run into a few people with phones about 7 years old that still work. Usually screens and keys end up useless after a few years. Original SIMS still carry all the info needed but 10 years old? One if one could put a new battery in - In China for sure very old phones still work in most systems.

So if I bought a SIM CARD in the past with a top up, it might work? Then I'd just have to wait 2 years to be able to post on minichan and I can be first.
