If GT Super came free with Word and Times New Roman was a $300 font no one ever heard of, would you find Times New Roman desirable?Also "GT Super" sounds like it should be a trim level on a '90s Toyota Celica. "Yeah I've got the Celica GT Super"

If GT Super were use everywhere and for everything, it wouldn't have any distinctiveness or any interesting character to it... but I still don't think I'd like Times New Roman much. It's not a particularly flowing or readable font. From what I understand, font nerds have never liked TNR. But it's really hard to say because we don't live in this (much preferable) universe with GT Super everywhere.
