Link actually spends time on the IRC talking to other people and we all get along very well. Most people visit both; it's just different board culture for those that want it (and different sets of mods, I guess). Everyone's cool.

It's already been discussed to death, but whatever. Even though it seems to have really died down, the ongoing dislike between the two boards does pop up out of nowhere every now and again. My half-assed answer is because pride, arrogance, a sense of superiority within people who actively post on only one board (although these people are few and far between), close-mindedness, and angsty teens. Personally, I enjoy both.
