I run into a lot of people who voted for him and considering this is California that sure is surprising - People did it for one of three reasons
He is a business man and many feel it was time for such to be president

People really did not trust Hillary

the US government was invented with what is called "checks and balances" in mind, in which there are branches of government that are supposed to be independent, to avoid dangerous concentration of power. however, all three are currently controlled by the same illuminati cabal, but trump himself was never really trusted by the illuminati, so they uneasily use each other as best as they can, looking over their shoulders all the while
