If slave contracts hold no legal merit then how come some corporations like WWE Inc. can essentially run a slave operation for most of their workers and not get into trouble with the government for being a slave operation? I'm sure you could turn a slave contract in a legally binding one depending on what words you use and how you structure it to make any judge or jury not see what the contract is actually about. I'm fairly certain you could disguise anything as something else and there will be no way of indicating just what that original something was.

A loophole can certainly be created depending on how you manipulate word definitions, right? Like when you say slavery is illegal then you could clearly manipulate what the context and the definition of slavery really are to see if the circumstance really qualifies as slavery, yes? It seems like the best masters would be lawyers who know how to bend the law in their favor. I doubt it, but it seems like you might be one of those lawyers with the way you speak with such certainty. The word slavery could have several definitions and one of them might not actually be covered by that amendment of the constitution. This sounds a little too philosophical, but perhaps that is needed to ensure that one could bend the law to their side thus creating loopholes.

Is this about independent contractors vs employees? Wrestling is just entertainment. If they do not like their contract they can just move on to some other line of work. Therefore they are not slaves at all.

In what ways are their contracts similar to slave contracts? Also keep in mind that actual slaves never signed contracts to be slaves

@previous (kook !!OPZbEQMT1)
That was just a reference to some people who compared WWE to slave owners. The people who initially made the comments were referring to the fact that the company has poor care for their workers or some shit, I don't remember.
